Ever since Sam was a youngster, he has loved to stay busy. Museums, zoos, parks, and malls were fun, but became a sensory-overload (kids screaming, parents yelling, crowds, lights, smells etc. are not easy for those with autism). Sam’s mom, Sue, began to introduce Sam to baking, a peaceful atmosphere with a challenging task at hand! Sam was hooked - Smiling, humming and talking to himself while carrying out all of the recipes he has memorized in his head. Yes, that’s right, Sam has all of his recipes memorized… He’s a smart cookie.

Baking is Sam’s passion, which has turned into a family business. We couldn’t do it without the support we continue to receive from our community. Thank you to everyone for helping us drive our mission forward!

our mission

We aim to provide empowering work for Sam while bringing together a community that makes the world better through high-quality sweets and experiences.

Sam | Head Baker

Baker Sam graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 2014 and graduated from a transition program that we like to call Tassle University in June 2017. His favorite class was cooking/baking, of course. A few more of his favorite things include swimming, putting together (300-piece) puzzles and watching movies (Disney is preferred). “Sweet” not only describes his baked goods accurately, but also his overall being.
